Nice enough place, came for a birthday party of a 7 year old boy. The staff seem understaffed but they definitely know what they were doing and we're really helpful. Toilets were not kept clean, I suppose its hard when there's kids and teenagers using them constantly. It definitely needs a cleaning rota.
Been here a few times, last time I went it was £8 per 15min session. It’s fun and exciting, they have some challenges within the game such as taking down the enemies room etc. there is also claw machines and some car/motor games within this place. Just have to improve their coffee but overall good
Booked a party of 18 for my kid's 8th birthday here. It was okay, but I think the place might be better for more casual games than parties. They don't particularly have a private room for your party to greet and eat in, and I didn't realise how important that was until I was looking around trying to count and figure out which kids had arrived while being flustered as they ran wild around all the other customers (Sorry! In my defence, some of our kids have ADHD). 😅
For the matches, they went in with other older teams, so we had 8-year-olds against a team of camping adults who were like the Barney Stinsons of laser tag. 😂 I don't begrudge them wanting to win, but I do think the place should arrange a break for the kids to eat between the matches. This would allow everyone to reset the teams so one team doesn't just dominate the others. It would also give staff time to clear the food and sort the cake, as we were waiting quite a while for that and the kids went mental with nothing else to do.
Other ideas could be to maybe have set times where it's adults/teens only and kids only. It's not exactly fun for kids to get owned by a bunch of adults, and equally, it's not very challenging for adults either to play against a bunch of wild kids.
Anyway, if you do decide to book a party here, my tip is to book some adults in to keep things fair. If you find you're against a group of camping adults, rally the kids to team kill them out of the area. 😜
Friendly & helpful staff. The venue is clean and well maintained. Price-wise it's quite reasonable for 2 games, which includes a free drink of your choice.
Overall, a great experience for the kids. The staff that dealt with our party were great, especially Cameron. The food was a bit basic, but the kids loved it.
The place could do with an interior refresh, and the aluminium chairs make an awful noise being moved about. I'd still recommend it for a kids party.
The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. A great birthday party was had there. Will definitely return soon.
I enjoyed it with my work team at this place.
Grandsons birthday party, him and 8 friends were booked in, he ended up being on a team with total strangers, most much older than him. His friends were on a different team to him. There were too many in at once, what was supposed to be 45 minutes was 28, told to be there 15 minutes early for safety talk which started 25 minutes after it should have. The people running the place were not to blame as they were all too young to be left in charge of this type of thing. One older person was joining in the games, he arrived on his own, not with a group, and then admitted to another, no booking, no payment jyst taken in by a staff member and apparently he is there all the time. He was rather intimidating to the younger children. There was no real organisation to the so called pizza buffet, that's all they got, pizza, and another group was in the same area so no real personal touch. At £16 a head we certainly won't be going there for another birthday. Could be a good place if correct staffing put in.
